Be a Beta Tester for AyahLab v1.4.0

AyahLab v1.4.0 is almost here — and you can help shape it. We are inviting beta testers to try the next release early, including the brand-new AyahLab Pro AI study tools. Selected testers will receive free Pro and Pro+ accounts.

·

Assalāmu ʿalaykum! AyahLab v1.4.0 is in its final stretch before release, and before it goes out to everyone, we would love for you to try it first — and tell us what you think.

This is our biggest release yet, and we want it to be solid, fast, and genuinely useful in your day-to-day study. The best way to get there is with the help of the people who actually use AyahLab. That is where you come in.

What is coming in v1.4.0 (the short version)

We will save the full tour for the official release post, but here is a high-level taste of what you will get to try:

  • AyahLab Pro — integrated AI study tools. For the first time, AI lives right inside the app: ask questions about an ayah, its morphology, a tafsir passage, or a manuscript, with the context handled for you. Everything else in the app stays completely free — only the AI features are Pro.
  • More ways to write. New Qur’anic and Arabic-phrase slash commands, and export your work straight to Microsoft Word.
  • A more powerful workspace. A notebook-style editor, a built-in terminal, and a more capable code editor.
  • Deeper study tools. Pop-out tafsir windows, new tafsirs, and word-by-word translation in more languages.
  • Lots more. Custom fonts, manuscript improvements, additional interface languages, and dozens of refinements throughout the app.

That is just the surface — there is plenty more waiting for you inside the beta.

A glimpse of AyahLab Pro

If you are hoping for a Pro or Pro+ account, here is a quick look at the AI study tools in action — what you will get to put through their paces:

How to join the beta

Joining is simple. If you would like to help test AyahLab v1.4.0, email us at support@ayahlab.com and let us know you would like to join the beta testers.

If you would like to be considered for a Pro or Pro+ account, please include your use case in the email — a short note on why you need it and how you plan to use the AI study tools. This helps us match the limited accounts to the testers who will benefit most from them.

Email template

To make things easy on both sides, please copy the template below into your email and fill it in. A consistent format helps us review every request fairly and quickly:

Subject: AyahLab v1.4.0 Beta Tester

Name:
Email (your AyahLab account email, leave blank if the sender email):
Operating system (macOS / Windows / Linux):
How you use AyahLab today:

Requesting (choose one): Beta only / Pro / Pro+
Use case (if requesting Pro or Pro+):
  - What you plan to use the AI study tools for:
  - Why a Pro / Pro+ account would help your work:

The use case is the part that matters most for Pro and Pro+ — the more clearly you describe how you’ll use the AI tools, the easier it is for us to assign the limited accounts.

The testing period runs until the end of July 2026, so please reach out soon to make the most of it.

Selected testers get a Pro or Pro+ account

To experience the new AI tools fully, a number of testers will be chosen to receive a free account for the testing period — so you can put the AI features through their paces, not just read about them:

  • 15 testers will receive an AyahLab Pro account
  • 5 testers will receive an AyahLab Pro+ account

This way you can explore the AI study tools first-hand and tell us how they hold up in real use.

Sending your feedback

Once you are in, your feedback is the whole point. Tell us what works, what breaks, what feels awkward, and what you wish were different — every note helps us make the release better.

Please send your feedback to support@ayahlab.com.

Jazākum Allāhu khayran for helping us build AyahLab. We are excited to hear what you think — and we cannot wait to share v1.4.0 with everyone very soon, in shā’ Allāh. Barakallāhu Feekum!
